A name or location entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Pike County Criminal History does not retain or separately log those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email message may be retained as needed to prepare and document a response. It is not disclosed beyond the organization unless a valid legal duty requires disclosure.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Pike County Criminal History does not build, keep, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general directions to records maintained by Pike Sheriff, criminal courts, the Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC), and the Georgia Sex Offender Registry. The website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not compiled into consumer reports or third-party criminal profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Independent companies power the search boxes. Information submitted through one of those tools is governed by that company's privacy terms rather than this policy. Each provider controls its retention and disclosure practices, so its policy should be reviewed before a query is submitted.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to sheriff pages, court portals, Georgia agencies, legal-aid resources, and commercial tools. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's own privacy policy controls. Review that policy before providing personal information.
Advertising companies may use their systems to measure activity across websites and select targeted advertisements. Pike County Criminal History does not control that external tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may nevertheless be disclosed to:

- Search providers processing a visitor's query

How We Protect Your Data

Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. When verified notice shows that a minor supplied such data, it will be deleted.
